An installation and performance project by 25 artists from Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia and the UK. Alongside site specific and installation works throughout the site, performances of a spontaneous, roving and theatrical nature will greet audiences on this journey of discovery.
Through their individual and collaborative art practices, these artists have come together to respond to the abandoned spaces provided for exhibition. Bangun in Bahasa Malaysian means Wake up! Attention! In this project the artists are saying – Wake up and notice the abandonment of buildings (bangunan) in KL!
Dates of exhibition : 1st (Fri), 2nd (Sat), 3rd (Sun) Feb 2008
Visit times : 4:30pm-7:00pm (Bring your own torchlight, umbrella and wear sensible shoe)

after the last group has come back from the site, a discussion about the project will take place at Lost Generation Space.
