THE SEEKER – Malaya LP

THE SEEKER feature “mostly filipinos” and they came from Milan, Italy. as mentioned somewhere else before, there are many, many punk/metal-related bands formed in the global Pinoy punks diaspora! pretty amazing really.

We first heard and enjoyed the band last year via their “Angst-Filled Youth” LP, and now they are back in our radar with two things; first this new album Malaya (the title spelled in the Philippines’ ancient Baybayin script), and second the news that the band are planning to do a Southeast Asian tour later in 2017.

btw, “malaya” mean “free” or “I am free” in Filipino. Do note: the vinyl is available in two choices; black and clear splatter-grey.
