Freedom Film Fest 2007 Competition – 7 Days Left!!

Got a story to tell the world but just don’t know how or where to do it? Put that idea for a social film on paper and submit before April 6th (that’s next friday)!
KOMAS (Pusat Komunikasi Masyarakat), a non-government organization is organizing the FreedomFilmFest (FFF2007) and is on the look-out for daring human rights stories to be made into film. This year we are jumping onto the “Merdeka” bandwagon by featuring the theme of Malaysia’s 50th year of Independence. We dare you to unearth stories of the social reality of Malaysia after 50 years of Independence!
The 3 best film proposals will be awarded a RM5,000 grant each to make your proposal into a film! Winners will also receive the Justin Louis Award and the completed films will premiere at the annual FreedomFilmFest2007 screenings with other international Human Rights films in September & October 2007 in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor.
