Utopia Trauma, Rahmat Harun’s first collection of poems and artwork! Available NOW!
Rahmat Haron (AKA Rahmat Harun) has just released a book, a 70-page, pro-printed A5-sized collection of his raw poems and mad sketches. The text is all in Bahasa, and it’s available from Rahmat himself for RM15 (by hand).
So far, that’s the only distribution channel he has but I’m sure it’ll be in some selected bookstores soon. According to Rahmat, the print run is currently very limited. Those who are interested to buy a copy, please call Rahmat on his mobile ‚Äì 019-649 2772

Bogela Testikal also by Rahmat which i had gone through borrowed from Mislina was amazingly written as it is highly recommended but i dunno where else you might get it unless from Rahmat himself. Poetry has never goes out of ‘style’…
Rahmat has actually released 3 collections before, maybe a few more collaborative efforts, none of which are “pro-printed” (all photostated), including Bogela Testikal. That is as far as I know lah.
Anyway, as some friends pointed out, the more “risque” poems are not to be found on Utopia Trauma, so there’s no Keranamu Malaysia in there. I think this is a smart move on the publishers behalf (maybe that’s their doing, maybe it’s not!). From my point of view though, as people out there get to know more of Rahmat via this book, those older, much more political poems will reveal themselves for sure.
