Photocopied flyer is since about thirty years the main medium of punk and diy culture. Distros, labels, bands, gigs bookers, fanziners, all have used it to show their activities to the “community”. Although new numerical era (internet, mailing list, personal computer etc) give him a bad way these last yeras, flyer is still here.

Besides his graphic interest (sometimes very limited) the flyer enable to keep memory of all these activities in whom lot of people were involved during years. This photocopied sheet of paper is both a snapshot of a period and soul of punk culture.
