    Are we only able to express our political anger through manufactured music? Is there something to the idea that once we have already recorded the performance of music that its true moment of expression has passed? Or was Rage Against The Machine right – that by “selling out” they were able to get the message to thousands of college students who would never have thought to buy an $18 Che shirt?     Maybe we should merely re-read the lyrics to Crass and others who actually tried (and are trying) to live an alternative rather than trying to sell an alternative; not to copy what they did, but to imagine new ways of living rebellion. Maybe that is this aberration of ‘punk’ that both instills me with hope and haunts me with its inherent contradictions. But ultimately for me, the revolution has to wait – I still have 10 grinding-blast-crust-violence-thrash-core EPs to release onto an already over-saturated commodities market.

    bagus bnyk kedai diusahakan oleh bdk2 scene skrg dok kesoh la bdk indie ke (free love prod), goth/grind (tools and trade) punk panggang ke (bakal dibuke joe kidd)…at least kite kenal bdk2 ning and senang berkire.

    dead topic but i just wanna say that diy jeff is actually from Centennial, Colorado, USA. At least that’s where his IP directed me to. Just found a good tracer application and tested it, just out of curiousity. What does it mean tho? Nothing really.
