My friends,
I am happy to inform you that a Webzine / Weblog of my own has just been launched at www.musirorecords.com
Well, it initially started as a minimal Webpage of Musiro Records, my DIY label specializing in releasing radical “anti-music” on tapes, back in summer 2005. With me getting busy with my vacation plan, work, and freaky Sailormoon toy collection, however, it was soon put on ice, and so was the whole business.
The idea of running a blog occured to me right after a two-month stay in Europe. That was also around when I met up with the dream to publish a fanzine of my own, which, thanks to my god-given slackness, had long been forsaken. While stuck in nostalgia for those “cut-and-paste” type paper ‘zines, and while actually getting started on one myself, I found it a very synergetic option to put the digital equivalent on the Net. Fortunately enough, as much as it took me to resume my so-called activities, I now gathered to share with fellow punk rockers all over the world.
This homepage, subtitled as R.O.K. and Roll Apocalypse, is thus no longer a mere means of promoting the label or distro. Rather, I would like it to be another underground network base, maybe in the same vein as Noizine or Ricecooker or LionCityDIY, connecting local and global hardcore punk communities.
So, my dear nerds, browse and have fun.
