MAGNICIDE – Demo 7″

MAGNICIDE – no need to say more if you’re into Southeast Asian grind, but for those yet to be enlightened, this Singaporean trio should be out there touring the world, and kicking arses everywhere they go. Here’s a review:

“fukking grind from halfway around the world. Fans of fastcore and record nerds know that rad shit is happening in the punk scenes of the island countries of Southeast Asia, but the place is under-appreciated by the international punk community outside of Australia and Japan. MAGNICIDE is one of those bands that few people in the US know about but make the Singapore scene so potent right now. The music is fast and brutal but more in the PLF or maybe MAMMOTH GRINDER vein than INSECT WARFARE. They throw in some metal riffage break it down a little to change things up.
