Lion City DIY: Songs For Sam CD

The Songs For Sam project is a benefit compilation for the victims of capital punishment; in this case the family of the late Shanmugam Murugesu. We have been working on for the past months and it has just arrived from the pressing plant!
Since there are 12 artistes on the CD, there is a plan for perhaps 2 launch events (for 6 performers each), one in early August and one in September or October.
The compilation will officially start being on sale at the launch gig.

Ricecooker note:
I’ve just got the CD from Gene (Six T Nine) about a week ago, one brilliant song from there is currently being played over and over again in the Ricecooker office. A review will be here soon.
Also on behalf of the Dung (who was supposed to send our song for the comp yoinks ago), I’d like to apologise to the project organisers. We didn’t manage to record anything in that period; much too caught up with other things. Sorry Seelan!
