The Evens in Kuala Lumpur?
To cut a long story short, The Evens (featuring Ian MacKaye & Amy Farina) is NOT able to come and play KL next month. Our request for the duo to come over was a bit too late. Ian tried his best to schedule a date but since everything was already planned and booked, the changes would upset the initial costing involved, so the visit is off. Sorry people!
Here is Mr. MacKaye’s statement: “I did speak to my travel agent and to try adding KL into the mix made the ticket costs quadruple! I wish we could have worked this out earlier when i could have worked on the routing a bit more, but as it stands I reckon we’re going to have to postpone a visit to Malaysia… Here’s hoping that we’ll be able to come out at some point in the not-too-distant future.”
Lets hope they wouldn’t miss KL next time.
