Johor Flood Relief: Please Donate!

JOHOR FLOOD RELIEF

We are doing a collection this Wednesday at the soft launch of Central Market Annex for families affected by the floods in Johor.

We will be driving down to the Pontian District on Saturday and passing the items to friends that are working in the relief centers for distribution.

It is our priority that donated items will reach families in need. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Please bring donations of the items listed below to
Ricecooker Shop at Central Market Annex KL
Wednesday 17th January
7.30pm – 11.30pm.

Please keep a look out for the cash donation boxes being passed around as well.

WHERE IS YOUR DONATION GOING TO?

Kampungs in the Pontian District: Kg. Tengah, Parit Jerman, Parit Selangor, Sri Gambut and Parit Bukit Panjang

WHAT?

Food: Canned food, packaged food, biscuits, rice, cooking oil, dry items etc. No perishables or wet stuff please.

School Items: Anything for school children, shoes, uniforms (good clean condition – of all sizes/ages), schoolbags, text books, exercise books, pencils, pens etc.

Children Goods: Clothes, shoes (good clean condition – of all sizes/ages), books, botol susu, lampin, toys etc.

Clothes: Please donate clothes and shoes that are in good clean condition. Sejadah (prayer mat) & telekungs too.

General: Blankets, pillows, tikar, soap, shampoo, tooth brushes, toiletries, cleaning detergents, lampu minyak, torches, new batteries etc.

For Pets: Please keep pets in mind, items such as cat food will also be appreciated!

Cash Donations: We will do our best to make sure this goes directly to those in need. (Flood victims will receive only RM500 cash and reconstruction of their homes from the government.)
