Kelelawar Malam / Ghaust Split-7″ – Out Now!

Actually this has been available from Cactus since three weeks ago and I managed to snag one at the recent Rumah Api visit. Limited to 300 copies on 18 different colours (see image), this is co-released by Grieve Records (Indonesia), Slap Bet Records(Singapore) and Cactus Records (Malaysia).

As you may have known, KELELAWAR MALAM plays darkened/death-rock with nods towards Danzig/Misfits while touching upon local Indonesian horror-kitsch, while GHAUST plays instrumental post-rock with heavy undertones. Pretty odd pairing but both bands are based in Jakarta, and heard the same studio space (we heard anyway!).
