The Buzzcocks in KL?

Somebody offered us if we would like to do a show by THE BUZZCOCKS here in KL. Apparently the Manchester orgasm-addicts, one of the earliest of UK punk bands which many of us truly, madly love to bits is playing Singapore soon and they want to come up for another show here, but of course, the offer doesn’t come cheap. I don’t wanna say it here but the band fee alone is enough for me to kickstart another Ricecooker Shop and have it running for at least seven months. Add in the cost of a good sound gear rental, venue rental, lighting, 3-star hotel, transportation etc… and I’d be able to run the shop for the whole year without rental worries.

Anyway, if you have the money to back this up, do get in touch. Or we can always go down to Singapore to see Pete Shelley & Steve Diggle playing all the heartbreak hits. Or just fire up YouTube and sit back:

I saw them in 1992 and they were fat, and the video above is from 2007 and yes, they are still fat! But as you can see THE BUZZCOCKS always play a storming set! Still awesome after all these years boss!
